Epic Games studio's breakout hit open world multiplayer shooter Fortnite is a success on every platform its been on, and Epic games is looking to support the game on the two biggest Mobile platforms.
Epic games announced that both cross-play and cross-progression will be available to players on Xbox, PC, and iOS, with Android support coming later down the road.
The announcement continued, stating:
"With each new platform we support and every update we ship, we strive to bring Fortnite to more people, and make it easier to play together with friends. And, as always, cross-play is opt in."
Fortnite will officially mark the first time cross-platform multiplayer will be officially shared between four platforms, sharing the same multiplayer platform. What's better is that the full game will be available to iOS and Android users with full cross-platform compatibility between consoles and PCs.
