The First Dead Trigger is one of the overall best mobile games ever made. Best gameplay mechanics, best graphics, and better overall accessibility, and manages to do it all without dumbing down a real hardcore gaming experience to appeal to deep casuals, who represent the lowest common denominator in gaming. Too bad Dead Trigger 2 is exactly the opposite.
One person makes medpacks, another builds grenades and shit, and there's one guy who just decorates the place. Not saying the dank looking warehouse wasn't in need of the woman's touch, but you end up paying up to 40 gold (currency you have to buy with real cash, because earning it is nearly impossible,) just to wait up to four fucking hours to get it done sometimes.
The one thing I dislike about the game the most is that instead of just earning the money to buy the weapons you want, you now have to kill enemies for a random item drop, that has the blueprint of the item you want instead. You can't just get one, no... There are multiple pages you have to collect from random item drops in order to get the items, most of which you're likely not going to want. To top it all off, you have to take it to a smith, and you have to pay him in in-game cash to build the weapon from scratch, which takes up to 3 hours. THREE GOD-DAMN HOURS!!! The only way past it is to pay 20 gold, and like I said before, Gold is nearly impossible to earn unless you buy it with real money in this game.

CONTROLS
Don't get me wrong; Dead Trigger 2 is a good game, but in order to realize how good it is, you have to get past the ass backward default settings, and change them back to the way they were in DT1. Leave them the way they are, and the game pretty much plays its fucking self. You don't have to shoot, hell, you barely even have to aim in default settings, because gameplay was redesigned from the ground up to appeal to the drooling, borderline retarded phone-worshippers that the corporations seem to think mobile gamers are these days.GRAPHICS
I, for the life of me, can't seem to understand why turning the graphics settings from low to Medium gives me a better frame rate, but I'm not complaining. Probably has something to do with this game being designed for the Nvidia Tegra chip. The game looks dope even on low, this time.STORY
This is the most pedestrian approach to a story I've ever seen in a survival horror game. I wasn't expecting much, considering the bar for good zombie apocalypse plotlines is already pretty low, but the gameplay mechanics behind the story didn't make any sense. For example, you live in a warehouse as your base of operations, right? As you further your mission in the game, you hire people to like in your warehouse to do various things. One person makes medpacks, another builds grenades and shit, and there's one guy who just decorates the place. VERDICT
One of the stupidest parts about the game is that it takes what was once a perfect example of a good FPS game for hardcore players, and turns it into a cheap ponzi scheme that panders to deep casuals who are dumb enough to buy into a scam.Publisher: MADFINGER Games
