Traffic Racer Review (Android)

Traffic racer is one of about a billion entries into the Traffic Racing genre, which has about as much racing in it as your average underground parking structure in Southern California. The objective of the game is to dodge traffic while driving really fast, and coming as close to scraping the paint off of another car as possible without crashing into it. You know, Just like Racing Fever, Traffic Dodge, Traffic Dodger, Racing Traffic Dodge, and every other game based off the same source code.

GRAPHICS

They look great. Every traffic dodging game looks great, because they are the same fucking game under a different name, and published by different companies.

GAMEPLAY

All these traffic dodgers are the same. You control the car with the 6-axis in the phone or tablet, you press the pedal on the lower right for the gas, and lower left for the brake. There are no tracks, no finnish lines and no racing of any kind; just dodging traffic until you give up.

CONCLUSION

Racing Fever is one of my favourite games on the Android Platform, so you could probably imagine my dissapointment when I discovered its a clone of over a dozen games out there on the android market. This is not enough to make it a bad game, and all games based on this source code are pretty good, but it sucks that they are all the same.
